The spoiler-free route plan

The safest first playthrough is a natural read. Answer or ignore calls and emails as you like, then use the clear chapter structure for cleanup. The game records skip text, so later runs move much faster than the first.

Do not overwrite your only save. Keep one rotating story save and a separate permanent save near each chapter branch. Character endings appear in a sequence from Chapters 6 to 9, while the final pair of routes depends on an email chain that begins much earlier.

  1. Read naturally until Chapter 6 and keep a permanent save before the chapter's decisive phone interaction.
  2. Repeat that save pattern at the start of Chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10.
  3. Finish the four chapter-specific character endings, returning to the matching save after each credits sequence.
  4. Complete the Mayuri route once without all six True Ending flags.
  5. Start a flag-focused run, follow the email chain, and branch at Chapter 10 for the remaining two endings.

Character endings in Chapters 6–9

Each of these chapters presents a point where Okabe can commit to the immediate character route or resist that outcome and continue toward the main ending pair. A save made before the decisive Phone Trigger action turns each branch into a short detour instead of another full playthrough.

Reveal the chapter-to-ending map

Chapter 6 leads to Suzuha, Chapter 7 to Faris, Chapter 8 to Lukako, and Chapter 9 to Moeka. Continue past each character branch to reach the late-game routes.

Kurisu and the True Ending flags

The True Ending is not selected from one final menu. It depends on six earlier replies in Kurisu's email chain. Missing a required response breaks the chain, so the cleanest approach is a dedicated flag run with a separate save before the first relevant reply.

Once all six flags are active, preserve a Chapter 10 save before the last branch. That gives you a convenient way to resolve the remaining route without rebuilding the complete chain.

Reveal the flag-run method
  1. Complete the six Kurisu email flags in Chapters 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10 without breaking the reply chain.
  2. Save before each reply and confirm that the expected follow-up email arrives before moving on.
  3. Continue past the Chapter 6–9 character branches.
  4. At Chapter 10, keep a final manual save before completing the last flag-dependent sequence.

Achievement cleanup without another full read

  • Keep auto-skip enabled only for text the game marks as previously read.
  • Use a separate save slot for each character branch and never replace your flag-run base save.
  • Open missed Phone Trigger interactions and media entries while revisiting the closest chapter save.
  • Check the Steam achievement list after all seven credits sequences; RE:BOOT currently exposes 41 achievements.
